Hi! My name is Chalise and I am C.V. Equine Therapy. I own one spit fire of a brown mare named Moose, and the sweetest little 4yo palomino named Stella. Years ago, while I was running one of the top boarding facilities in College Station Texas, equine bodywork fell into my lap and I haven’t looked back since. I came back home to Utah and got my massage license followed by a more advanced equine sports massage certification. Since then I have continued to evolve in the world of performance horses, equine sports med, and equine sports therapy with an emphasis on injury prevention and recovery. I chose to add ATS Acuscope-Myopulse therapy to my practice in order to provide a research backed, proven modality that can and has begun to revolutionize the equine injury prevention and recovery world. I am also a Utah dealer for MVP (Med Vet Pharmaceuticals) supplements. I have first hand witnessed the ways in which quality and simple supplementation and nutrition can change a horses performance and longevity.

The Electro-Acuscope is my primary instrument, this works directly with the nervous system, specifically the spinal column (Central and Peripheral Nervous System). The acuscope works to normalize the current, or energy, in the nerve cells. With direct access to the nerves, I am able to indirectly work with tendons, ligaments, fascia, and periosteum (the protective layer of dense connective tissue around bones except the surface of joints). The Acuscope provides real time digital readings via the biofeedback system which creates a map for me to work more efficiently and effectively.

Myopulse is my companion instrument to the acuscope. This instrument and its accessories have direct access to soft tissue (tendons, ligaments, and fascia). A horses heart produces an electric current that runs out of the heart and into every single cell which research has shown to be 5 times larger than humans. This is their electro-magnetic field. The Myopulse works to normalize that electro-magnetic field around soft and connective tissue as well as normalizes the tissue. Myopulse also has a massage like effect, but in a much more efficient way than my hands alone, especially when it comes to relaxation and muscle release, and vascularization. Through the design of the accessories I can feel tissue change and release through the handle much like I would feel it with hands on work. With some hands on work plus an emphasis on using this entire system we can work deeper, be more effective, and create longer lasting results.
