Intro series is almost always done in clinic at Mountain Point Equine. Some mobile availability if you’re local or near the Bluffdale / Draper/ Sandy / Herriman area.
Intro series is 3 acuscope sessions completed over 2-3 days. This ensures longevity and is started this way to prep the body for follow up sessions. Maintenance sessions can be haul in or mobile and typically last 1 hour. Maintenance varies and is scheduled based on initial eval.
Intro series cost is $350 including 3 Acuscope sessions, bodywork, stall, cleaning, feeding, and turn out. Haul in each day is also available. Maintenance sessions range from $100-$125 depending on number of sessions booked per week/month.
Contact me directly for wound and rehab program pricing. Wound care and rehab is usually done in clinic to ensure proper cleaning, hand walking, and to follow vet guidelines exactly as they require.
Equine Performance Massage
Benefits of equine sports massage range from improved circulation, relaxing tight muscles, reliving tension, to increased range of motion. Tight muscles lead to fatigue injuries and can massively increase your chances of a soft tissue injury. Relaxed muscles allow for full range of motion of joints, recover more effectively, and aid in helping the lymphatic system. Sports teams from the collegiate level up to the pro like the NFL and MLB all have dedicated massage therapists well versed in sports massage.
Massage therapy combined with other modalities like acuscope and chiropractic can have a profound positive impact on your horses body and performance.
Sessions average 1-2 hours. Stretching may or may not be involved and I will almost always send you home with exercises to help the massage hold.
Mobile appointments over 20 minutes outside of Bluffdale are $125. Haul in sessions and sessions within the 20 minute travel range are $100.
